D3 has been highlighted as an inspirational initiative as part of the “International Cooperation Dialogues – Global Perspectives” day organised by France Education international, in partnership with the International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP‑UNESCO), the French Education Ministry’s Directorate for Digital Education – Sub-directorate for Digital Uses in Education and Higher Education (DNE‑AMDAC) and the Delegation for European and International Relations and Cooperation (DREIC).
The event was held on 1 July 2026 in Sèvres, a publication has been produced accompanied by the mapping of inspiring initiatives on the theme: “Training education stakeholders in the use of data”. In this context, the “D3 Project was highlighted as an inspiring initiative specifically focused on training education stakeholders in the use and understanding of data.
The event centred heavily on the future of international cooperation, particularly regarding the Erasmus+ programs, dual diploma projects, and digital equity in learning. Full round-ups and session replays are available directly on the France Education International portal.
The Developing Digital Data (D3) Literacy project is recognised as an educational initiative aimed at enhancing individuals’ ability to understand, interpret, and use digital data effectively. It focuses on equipping learners with critical skills in data collection, analysis, visualisation, and ethical management. By integrating practical tools, case studies, and collaborative activities, D3 promotes informed decision-making, encourages digital citizenship, and establishes evidence-based problem solving. Ultimately, it seeks to build a society capable of critically engaging with data-driven technologies and insights, bridging the gap between raw information and meaningful understanding

GEODEM-AI addresses democratic principles, civic engagement, and social responsibility of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in geographic information, by offering interactive multimedia training materials for teachers and educators based on real-world civic applications, with the aim to foster active citizenship and civic participation.
