AI should be used in school to enhance critical thinking. Schools should develop ethical guidelines to prevent bias, misinformation, and over-reliance, promoting responsible, transparent, and inclusive AI integration for improved education.

He suggests policies on the use of AI should include academic honesty but also refer to the occasions when AI should and should not be used.
An initial checklist might also include:
– Great care must be taken when using student information. It should not be input into AI.
– A selection of tools which are the preferred options should be identified and communicated to students. This might include Gemini AI in schools making use of Google products for example.
